Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

I have written nonfiction for many years, but my journey as a writer of fiction is just beginning. Thank you for joining me on this adventure!
I don’t remember when I didn’t write. I was writing little sentences before I could recite the alphabet. I couldn’t see the reason to learn a list of letters that made no sense when there were words to learn and fashion into poems and stories.
But, as I grew older and continued into higher and higher levels of schooling, I wrote fewer stories and poems. My writing took the form of reports and essays, debate arguments and speech oratories. When finally out of school, my chosen career required – and still requires- much in the way of formal, professional writing, but there was finally time for a different kind of writing, the kind that comes from the heart as much as the mind.
So, I write. I continue to write nonfiction to support my career and present my configuration of truth. But, now I am also writing fiction to lift my thoughts from mere daydreams to something tangible, something real, something lasting.
So, welcome to my adventure in telling tales and writing stories.
